ATTENTION: Our new shipment of slats are made of harder plywood. These have 13 slats that are 2 1/4" wide and are spaced 3" apart from one another. The slats are attached by 3/4" wide BLACK straps. Bed slats eliminate the need for a link spring or box spring! They provide support so that you can use a regular mattress on a twin size bed rather than having to use a specific bed mattress. Place them under your mattress on the bed frame and you are ready to go. The slats are 39" (give or take 1/16") wide are attached to each other out to 72" in length. Be sure to measure your bed to ensure that these slats will fit before you purchase.

they didnt fit in straight so i just angled them in and used the screws, doesnt creek,silent when you lay down on the mattress, would buy again. dont need to be perfectly alligned. used for my twin size bed

The seller took a genuine and active approach at helping me with the delay in shipment - which the problem seems to have stemmed from the carrier's end as opposedt to the seller's end.
The product was easy to install and made a SIGNIFICANT difference in my spare bedroom bed. It firmed it up - and makes it feel as if I got a whole new bed. This product is a great purchase and the seller is conscientious of their customers.

These are firm and sturdy wood bed slats. I removed some flimsy slats from a bed and put these on it. I used two long pieces of wood to screw onto the bottom side of these slats, positioned on the inside of the bed frame, (not attached to the metal frame, but attached to the wood slats) and these stay perfectly in place. I would highly recommend these wood slats.
