This review is from: Lifting Cushion Electric Chair Seat Lift - Weight Range Up to 300 lbs This product seemed like a good idea, but wasn't what we hoped for. First, the levers that raise and lower are plastic, and I doubt they would have held up long. Second, this may work well on hard wooden chairs, but we wanted to use it on a sofa or living room recliner. The lift seat pressed down into the cushion making it hard to use the levers, and also was unstable in a chair slightly larger than the lift seat. Now for the worst part of my dissatisfaction.... when I went to return the item I learned there was a 20% restocking fee. Between that and the return shipping, it cost me .00 to return this item.
