This review is from: Futon Sofa Bed in Gray Microfiber This couch has pros and cons, depending on your preferences, it might be a good choice or a bad choice for you. Pros: - It's very light (Delivery is cheaper than similar sofas) and It comes in a compact package so it's easy to get it in your apartment. This is a big advantage especially for people who live in buildings with no elevator. - Easy to assemble. You don't need any tools. - Decent size - It has a good design and looks pretty good for a futon. Cons: - It's not comfortable to sit on. The legs are very short, and the sofa is pretty low. Not comfortable if you like to slouch. - The arm pieces are also a little too low. - The part you actually sit on almost feels like there's no cushion. Quite hard and firm. Overall, there are more comfortable sofas if you are willing to pay 50-100$ more and have no problems regarding the delivery and movement of the sofa. But, if you do have issues regarding the delivery, and if you need a sofa that is light and compact, this would be an acceptable purchase. UPDATE: This sofa turned out to be extremely weak and poorly made. After 6 months of usage, two of the springs broke free from the frame and seat of the sofa sank inwards at two points. Both incidents happened when someone was simply sitting on it. Nothing unusual or harsh was being done. I used it for another 4 months, simply because I had to, and then had to throw it away. I do not recommend this sofa anymore, under any condition. Hence, I changed the rating from 3 stars to 1 star. This is the most poorly made sofa I've ever used. This review is from: Futon Sofa Bed in Gray Microfiber The only thing that is not good is that you can't take the top off. You can't replace it restuff it or anything but otherwise it's a nice bed. My daughter had to have a futon for a bed, I thought no because you just don't sleep every night on a futon but she had to, now it's a little bumpy and I figure next year about this time I'll be replacing it.
