After buying a bunk bed and seeing how the poor quality slats start to crack I set myself to find inexpensive good quality replacement slats. These are definitely good wood, flexible AND rigid enough to withstand weight without breaking. The fit for our bed was perfect. Slats are attached, so no single pieces to slip off frame. Just a little wider than my frame, so I sawed off less than an inch on one side. Now fits perfectly, and mattress is securely supported. Was a good purchase. I thought they were at least primed/painted but not. However the product works good, makes bed firm. At this price I guess it's a good deal.
