At first I was skeptical about buying a couch online. My friends thought I was crazy. But I trusted my instincts and bought this couch. I read the other reviews and was a bit nervous about the quality (there is one really bad review), but it turned out to be a great purchase. There is assembly required and the directions were not that clear but I managed to assemble it by myself in about an hour. I am very pleased with how comfortable it is both as a couch and as a bed. I was so excited I slept on it the first night! So, I wanted to get a decent couch, that could be used for a bed too (for when family or friends stay over) for my new rental place and I wanted it for a decent price, so furniture stores around where I live were automatically out. I thought I could find something here on amazon, so I began my search. I finally found this couch and LOVED how it looked. I thought it would go great with my decor. The price was great- plus the free shipping!! I thought AWESOME!So I bought it and when it was delivered (in a timely fashion)I was shocked. I had to put the thing TOGETHER! It was no couch- it's simply a futon that LOOKS just like a couch. No where did it say "assembly required". I would've NEVER bought it if I knew that! So I thought "what the heck" it's already here and I'm not sending the thing back now. So I put it together.... which was awful. There was a sheet that came with it saying that the cushions that go over these box spring things were deflated and to use them as you would any other couch and they would pop back up to normal in 48-72 hours. Well... we waited, and waited and waited. It's been WEEKS now and they look no different. It looks NOTHING like the picture does and the cover just doesn't fit well- like it's too small to go all the way down to where it should. Anyways, I would not recommend this product unless you don't really care that you have to assemble it or that it won't ever look as good as a regular couch or like the picture. |
